The Curfman Gallery’s 40th anniversary culminates with its longest running annual exhibit, the Undergraduate Visual Art Exhibition at Colorado State University. This annual exhibition serves to showcase the top talent of CSU artists regardless of major. It is no surprise that with the level of student involvement, hard work and peer support that the Undergraduate Exhibition tends to be one of the most popular exhibitions at the Curfman Gallery each year. The exhibition seeks to provide the CSU community with a deeper understanding of the arts while celebrating the CSU students' artistic and academic achievements.
Translations Gallery owner, Judy Hagler and director, Kate Chimenti were asked to jury this prestigious exhibition. The artist talent at CSU is amazing as Judy and Kate well know. Several Translations Gallery artists are from CSU, including professors James Dormer and Paul Flippen and students Laura Carpenter and Stanley Scott.
The opening reception for the CSU Undergraduate Art Exhibition is at the Curfman Gallery in the Lory Student Center on Friday, April 23rd 4-6pm. Please join us in congratulating the exhibitors and award winners!
